Good trip; as advertised. Reasonable price. The 23' panga was large enough for 2 fishermen. Capt Pancho knows his profession and has a pleasant personality. Would liked to have caught a few more fish, but that is fishing.

We had a great trip with Ruben and his nephew Alejandro. They put us on a great sailfish. Bring some snacks and a speaker to play music and you’ll have a good time.
I would recommend Daliken Sportfishing for anyone in the San Jose area.

We did not have a good experience with this company.
Got to the dock and they were late. Felipe, the boat manager tried to charge me an extra $600 for a trip that was already paid in full and think god I had me $0.00 balance receipt with me. We got on the boat and the steering was out so they took a short period working on it and said they got it fixed. By then, almost all the bait boats were sold and we got a very minimal amount of bait and headed out.
As we headed out we started to realize the steering wasn’t working and the captain was trying to convince us he was trolling, but the truth was he had to go slow because the steering wasn’t working. It later became apparent that this was an ongoing problem
Furthermore, while they were working on the steering we realized that one of the boats motors was down too. After many questions to the captain he finally revealed that that motor hadn’t been working for some time.
So, we did get a full refund only because we had a boat full of mechanical fisherman that probably knew more than the people operating it. I really feel like they tried to make it look like a good trip and would have taken our money had we not known more about the mechanical operation of the boat.
Hopefully this was just a one time misunderstanding, but my gut tells me it wasn’t

After reviewing your case with our dock manager Felipe, we confirmed there was a misunderstanding regarding the payment, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that caused. It was never our intention to charge you twice, and we’re glad you had your receipt to clarify it immediately.
Regarding the boat, one of the steering components failed just before departure, and our crew did their best to repair it on the spot so that you could still enjoy your trip. Unfortunately, mechanical issues can sometimes happen even with regular maintenance — but your safety always comes first, which is why the trip was stopped and a full refund was issued.
We truly value your understanding and the respect you showed our team during that situation. This was an isolated incident, and since then, that boat has been fully serviced to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

The 26ft panga was just the right size boat for me. The boat captain Ruben and his deckhand were amazing and worked very hard to make the trip a success. The owner Jaime was easy to communicate with and responds to queries promptly. I would definitely fish with them again!

Great crew and boat. They worked really hard to get us on fish and we landed two 25lb amberjacks. Really a great experience and I would book with them again in a heartbeat.
